The EBook Pilot Project -- Read all about it!

Whittemore Library has been selected as an EBook Pilot School

by Massachusetts Library Systems


We have been chosen to participate in a pilot program that will give us access to new and exciting E-content.

Books and other materials are available for students, faculty and staff at FSU before anyone else in the state. Just search, checkout, and download to a device, and you're off and running.

The MA eBook Project is brought to you by the Massachusetts Library System in partnership with the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners and your school library, funded in part, by the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.

(Ebooks in Biblioboard are downloadable on tablets & the iPad only; they are not downloadable on phones. However, books from Baker & Taylor (a selection of best sellers in fiction & nonfiction) are downloadable on phones.

Access the Ebook Catalog!

Click on the box below to access the MA eBook Project Catalog.  This catalog allows you to search EBL, BiblioBoard and Baker & Taylor at the same time. You must have a library card to check out any of the books.



When downloading books from Baker & Taylor

Baker & Taylor includes popular fiction and recently published nonfiction ebooks that can be downloaded on your phone, tablet, ipad, Nook, or Kindle!

REMEMBER,first go to switch library and select Framingham State University as your preferred library. Then create an account for Baker & Taylor by entering your library card number.   Once you have created your account, you can access the Baker & Taylor site from anywhere.  

You will also need to create an account with Adobe Digital Editions. Adobe Digital Editions is a free software that allows you to download and read EPUB and PDF eBooks on your computer and/or transfer them to eBook readers. You can create an Adobe ID and Password by going to and clicking on "Sign In".

Check out over 150,000 academic and popular titles through EBL. All you need to do is to select Framingham State University in the drop down menu.
