The Whittemore Library is excited to offer 15-20 minutes library tours for classes or groups! Tours are led by Kathleen Barnard, Student Engagement Coordinator at the Whittemore Library. Library tours consist of a physical tour of the building, and can be customized to the needs of your group or class.
Library tours are 15 to 20 minute programs. Tour groups will get a physical tour of library, highlighting where to get help in the library, IT services, the physical book collection (stacks),the Curriculum Library, the study areas, and other points of interest for library users. Tours also include chances for participants to ask questions.
Please note, library instruction is NOT provided during tours. For more information on library instruction, please visit our Library Resources for Faculty LibGuide.
Classes or groups can make special requests for any tour. Any special requests should be submitted at least 48 hours in advance of the tour. Special requests can be submitted on your tour request or by contacting Kathleen Barnard (email@example.com).
