Concerns about, denial of, and attempts to prevent or slow human-caused climate change has become one of the most pressing issues of our time. To some it may seem to have always been an ongoing concern, though humans did not begin to really notice and seek to understand the observed rapid changes in our climate patterns until a little before the middle of the 20th century.
